David Kelley celebrates his 14th year as a professional Equity actor and is very thankful  that he can play every day for a living.

AND...

David has just signed a contract to appear as a principal actor in national commercials for Carnival Cruise Lines and is also featured on the internet in a series of webisodes on their website.


Very active in professional theatre companies all over Florida, David’s most recent critically acclaimed performances have included Javert in Seaside Music Theater’s Les Miserables in Concert, Georg Nowack in the Mad Cow Theatre and Caldwell Theatre productions of She Loves Me,  Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods with Orlando Shakespeare and as both Thomas Jefferson in 1776 and the title role in the Southeast premiere of Johnny Guitar at the Actors’ Playhouse in Coral Gables, FL.


Several times a week you can see David at Walt Disney World as the singing cowboy Jim Handy in the rustic Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show at Fort Wilderness and occasionally as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast.  You may also find him during the day, clad in spandex, playing Spider-Man or Captain America at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure.


In addition to being a stage actor, David is equally at ease in front of a camera and can be seen internationally on television commercials for Pennington Grass “The Turf Thief”, Dirol Chewing Gum (Russia) and STARZ! on DirecTV among others.  He is also the lead actor in the Trick Pony music video, “It’s a Heartache”. Always continuing to work on his acting craft, David studies Meisner technique with former Young Riders and Northern Exposure star, Yvonne Suhor.


David’s favorite use of leisure time is spending quality time with his family, exploring the country on his Harley and bending forks for his dad’s silverware art business, Spoonman.com.
